Dreadperms are the best way to start natural dreadlocks. It works on all hair types, especially on straight, soft curly, or longer hair. Hairpolice developed the dread perm technique in 1986.

Hairpolice uses a comb and our hands to create dread shapes in the hair, then permanently "perms" them in with a chemical solution.

• They are permanent
• Must be cut short to remove (short not shaved)
• The dreads are firm and well formed the first day
• The dreads continue to grow into dreads
• They can easily be maintained with simple dread maintenance every 2 - 4 months in the salon

Your hair must be at least 5 inches to get a dreadperm. Service takes 4 hours average. Dreadperms are easy to keep clean, healthy, and beautiful. We do not use beeswax, honey, or glue.

SYNTHETIC DREADLOCKS

Hairpolice uses synthetic hair attached as extensions to the natural hair to create custom dreadlocks with
any colors, any lengths, and any sizes to suit personal style.

Natural hair must be at least 2-3 inches long. Synthetic dreads can be worn indefinitly with maintenance every 3 months. The dreads can be reused.

Synthetic dreads can also be used as a way to start your own dreads if you choose, We can also add them to the end of natural dreads after a dread perm to instantly lengthen your dreads. They are permanent and called extenders.
